Thanks to COVID-19, in March 2020 a new style of fundraiser emerged – the virtual gala.

We all watched the first virtual galas.  The first 8 weeks were a madhouse of change. Adaptations were fierce and fast. We took notes.

By May, the pace of change subsided. Virtual galas fell into one of several styles.

Good ideas have emerged.

In this class, I'll share the best ideas I’ve seen when it comes to virtual galas with a focus on webinar-styled events, which allow for more interactivity.

This will be a 2-part live webinar training whereby I’ll be teaching the best approaches I’ve seen when it comes to private virtual galas (“private” = closed, webinar-based galas in contrast to studio-based galas).

Sherry Truhlar is President of Red Apple Auctions, a boutique auction firm specializing in fundraising events.  Since 2005 she’s been a trusted educator for auction planners seeking to improve the profitability of their galas. 

You might have seen her lately sharing advice on virtual galas via her blog and speaking to groups via Gail Perry's "Insider's" course or Givergy's podcast.
