For the first time EVER the Haverford School hired a professional charity auctioneer for our annual fundraising gala. Now we can’t imagine doing it any other way.
Sherry was absolutely awesome from the moment we first contacted her through the final wrap-up one week after the Gala was over. Despite the fact that we have been doing this for years, we learned so much from her.
By following her recommendations, we not only netted more from our event, we had a more professionally run and FUN event that has people enthused about next year. Sherry infused our event with much needed new energy, new ideas and new ways to raise funds for our cause! We MORE than got our money’s worth with Red Apple Auctions.
P.S. The auctioneer assistants that Sherry brought with her to the event were superb and helped us exceed our goal for the raffle – an unexpected and added bonus.

If you hold an online auction leading into a live event, what is the ideal duration for a small — 25 item — online auction. Items will be carried into the live event unless they sell for the Buy It Now price.
Thinking 10 days, but wanted your expert opinion.
That sounds good, Olivia. As I’ve talked with online auction vendors, I’ve heard anywhere from 7 to 14 days mentioned. For my clients, the auction often ends the Thursday night before a Saturday gala.
